The Northumberland Public Library is sponsoring a free nine-week program of workshops, The Artist’s Way with local artist Mary Gustafson-Small as facilitator. Beginning June 6, participants will meet every Monday from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the library meeting room. The program runs until August 1. “The Artist’s Way” a workbook by award-winning writer Julie Cameron, will be provided to participants free of charge. The international best-selling workbook includes techniques to assist people in uncovering their creativity. Bring a pen and paper and be prepared to have fun reacquainting yourself with your creative hopes, dreams and abilities. Reservations are recommended.
